“Stand still in VR, clear sixty-second patterns and bank combos with fantasy tools — Range Rush is coming soon.”

Range Rush is a fast gallery you play standing still in a VR headset. Pick a fantasy tool, face a sixty-second pattern, clear the targets, bank the combo, and add a modifier for another run.

It is coming soon on aeternusvita.io. Visit Range Rush to get notified when it is ready. This guide explains what it is, how a run works and who it tends to suit, using only the official brief and store copy.

What Range Rush is

Range Rush is described as a fast gallery you play standing still in a VR headset. The one-line pitch is direct: stand still in a headset, pick a fantasy tool, and clear a one-minute pattern. The subtitle is sixty-second gallery runs.

The long description sets the loop. You select a loadout, clear a sixty-second pattern, bank the combo, and add a modifier for another run. The targets are drawn so you can read them while the pattern moves. You stay where you are. The minute of targets comes to you.

Range Rush is made by aeternusvita.io. It is listed as coming soon. No price, release date, ratings or reviews have been set. The factory category is games. The brief names the audience as arcade-shooter players and the hook as fast stationary gallery shooting with dramatic modifiers. The pillars are low latency aiming, readable targets and high score depth.

Two things are explicitly out of scope. Range Rush does not simulate realistic firearms and it does not include online player-versus-player. The loadout is built around three fantasy tools.

How a sixty-second run works

A run in Range Rush follows four steps. Select a loadout. Clear a sixty-second pattern. Bank the combo. Add a modifier for another run.

You stay still while the pattern plays. The brief lists this as a feature: you stay still while sixty-second patterns play. The pattern moves across the space in front of you. You read the targets and respond from where you are.

Each attempt is short. You face the pattern, clear what you can, and the run ends. The combo you built is then banked. The brief states it plainly: the combo you bank is how the score climbs from one minute to the next.

After a run you can add a modifier to your set. Ten modifiers can join your set once a run has earned them. Progress and settings save on the device and the desktop spectator view shows the range to someone watching, noted for PCVR.

The three fantasy tools and how shots register

Three fantasy tools cover the loadouts. The brief keeps the description at that level: three fantasy tools in the loadout. The PRD adds that they are original, non-branded tools.

How a shot registers is part of the design. A shot can register as it lands, or it can travel as a projectile. The required systems name this as hitscan and projectile weapons. One type counts on impact, the other travels to the target as a projectile.

Low latency aiming and readable targets support a gallery where you read a moving pattern from a fixed spot. The tools are fantasy by design.

Picking a tool is the first choice in the loop. Clear the pattern, bank the combo, and any modifier you earned can join your set.

Five target sets drawn to be read quickly

Five target sets change the pattern in front of you. They are drawn to be read quickly while the pattern moves. That line appears in the long description and in the features list for every locale.

A gallery works when you can read what is coming. The pattern moves and the targets need to be legible at a glance. You respond from a fixed position. The five sets give variety without requiring you to move through the space.

The brief is explicit: you stay where you are, the minute of targets comes to you. The target sets are the main way each run looks and feels different from the last.

Combos and modifiers and how the score climbs

The combo is central to scoring. You build a combo during the sixty seconds and bank it at the end of a run. The banked combo is how the score climbs from one minute to the next.

Ten modifiers can join your set once a run has earned them. The brief lists ten modifiers as part of the MVP scope and the features list says ten modifiers earned across runs. Modifiers are added after a run, so each successful minute can change the loadout you take into the next one.

One minute is self-contained. The combo links minutes together. The brief does not name individual modifiers or values, so this guide stays at the system level.

Where you play and who it suits

Range Rush is a VR gallery for arcade-shooter players. The brief lists platforms as Web with a hosted web build that has passed a desktop smoke test. For Meta Horizon the brief notes a web-only build, with a progressive web app via create-pwa as a possible route. There is no Quest-native package at this stage. The build is web-first, with a vertical slice built from the PRD and a Godot native port not yet started. An HTML5 zip is package-ready for itch.io pending account setup.

You play standing still. The brief states this throughout, and the acceptance criteria name standing and seated modes with a core interaction a new user can reach within two minutes. The space needed is small. You stay where you are and the pattern plays in front of you.

Settings and progress save on the device. The desktop view lets someone else see the range on a monitor while you are in the headset.

If you like stationary shooters, the draw is the fixed-position gallery and the short sixty-second attempt.

If you like target galleries, the draw is readable, moving patterns. Five target sets let you parse what is coming and decide where to aim.

If you are new to headset play, three tools and five sets keep the set small to learn. Leave enough space to stand comfortably and move your arms without catching furniture or the cable.

What coming soon means and how to get notified

Range Rush is listed as coming soon on aeternusvita.io. That is the only availability status on file. No release date, price, store IDs, ratings or reviews have been set, and nothing has been submitted to stores. The ready score is 54, which reflects a hosted web build that has passed a smoke test, a prepared HTML5 package, listings and art on file, and work still to do before submission.

The publishing brief notes the privacy policy URL is proposed but not yet live, and that store IDs are not yet assigned. The itch.io package is ready and waiting on account setup.

To keep up, head to Range Rush and use the notify option on the product page. That is the place aeternusvita.io will update when the coming soon status changes. For now it is coming soon, nothing more.
